Three years ago I made the decision that I wanted to take control of my health and lose weight. Getting up from my couch, I went to my fridge and poured the two liter bottle of soda down the drain and cleared out all of the meat.
Having one more steak dinner or glass of soda would have taken my drive toward a healthier life to a screeching halt.
This happens with our resolutions and goals. We will put one more charge on our credit card, eat one more order of fries, spend one last morning sleeping in, watch one more episode, play one more level, drink one more round, spend one more late night because we can start tomorrow. We believe that we will somehow and someway be different tomorrow, though we are unwilling to make the immediate change now.
You know the kind of person you want to be tomorrow. Start now.
